One of my blog readers posted this comment on one of my blog posts:
"i've always felt that 'macho' is such a simplistic and shallow role. It takes courage to feel."
I agree. I believe acting "macho" is just that....an act. They're usually trying to overcompensate for something or they feel they have to put on such an act for their job (cops, ceo's, etc.) or another reason. I have been contacted by or have known many people in various professions and there are several males who act macho or tough when in reality in their soul, they're not.
It takes strength to rise above any initial macho reactions. To take
the higher road. To let your light shine. To be who you are deep down
in your soul. To choose love over hate/fear. Hate is easy. Be an example of good in the
