Chivalry and code of conduct
I look for a person's good character, values and what code he lives by. There are several good aspects of the code of chivalry that would be wise to follow.
Kneeling before the Queen is an honor and privilege. It's not for the weak or unworthy. Bring your best self.

Romance
How romantic. I mean the first part! Even though I'm dominant in private, I'm still a woman afterall and would like a loving partner who knows how to show a romantic side sometimes. It shows appreciation to help make me feel special. I'm a big romantic at heart.
Spending extra time to do something nice is appreciated.

Chivalry
Chivalry: "Knights vowed to be loyal, generous, and "of noble bearing". Knights
were required to tell the truth at all times and always respect the
honour of women. Knights not only vowed to protect the weak but also
vowed to guard the honor of all fellow knights. They always had to obey
those who were placed in authority and were never allowed to refuse a
challenge from an equal. Knights lived by honor. -- wikipedia"

What a Knight Truly Is
I read this and liked it...
"The Knight's Code of Chivalry was a moral system that stated all knights should protect others who can not protect themselves, such as widows, children, and elders. All knights needed to have the strength and skills to fight wars in the Middle Ages. Knights not only had to be strong but they were also extremely disciplined and were expected to use their power to protect the weak and defenceless. Knights vowed to be loyal, generous, and "noble bearing". Knights were required to tell the truth at all times and always respect the honour of women.
Knights not only vowed to protect the weak but also vowed to guard the honour of all fellow knights. They always had to obey those who were placed in authority and were never allowed to refuse a challenge from an equal. Knights lived by honor and for glory. Knights were to fear God and maintain His Church. Knights always kept their faith and never turned their back on a foe. Knights despised pecuniary reward. They persevered to the end in any enterprise begun. The main vow from the knights was that they shall fight for the welfare of all.
Broken down, a Modern-day knight has:
Courage
More than bravado or bluster, today’s knight in shining armor must have the courage of the heart necessary to undertake tasks which are difficult, tedious or unglamorous, and to graciously accept the sacrifices involved.
Justice
A knight in shining armor holds him- or herself to the highest standard of behavior, and knows that “fudging” on the little rules weakens the fabric of society for everyone.
Mercy
Words and attitudes can be painful weapons in the modern world, which is why a knight in shining armor exercises mercy in his or her dealings with others, creating a sense of peace and community, rather than engendering hostility and antagonism.
Generosity
Sharing what’s valuable in life means not just giving away material goods, but also time, attention, wisdom and energy — the things that create a strong, rich and diverse community.
Faith
In the code of chivalry, “faith” means trust and integrity, and a knight in shining armor is always faithful to his or her promises, no matter how big or small they may be.
Nobility
Although this word is sometimes confused with “entitlement” or “snobbishness,” in the code of chivalry it conveys the importance of upholding one’s convictions at all times, especially when no one else is watching.
Hope
More than just a safety net in times of tragedy, hope is present every day in a modern knight’s positive outlook and cheerful demeanor — the shining armor that shields him or her, and inspires people all around.
Each of these concepts is important in itself, and every one of these virtues is an admirable quality, but when all of them blend together in one person, we discover the value, and power, of chivalry today. Modern-day knights should strive to keep these virtues alive in their own hearts, but, perhaps more importantly, they should work to bring these wonderful qualities out in the people they see every day — at home, in the office, at school or on the street corner. A person who lives by the code of chivalry in today’s world allows everyone to see their best qualities reflected in his or her shining armor.
Pulled from several websites, though altogether the messages above are what makes a person fall under the guise of a knight in the modern day."
--Under this definition, I would be considered a knight...as well as a Queen. Now I just need some land to rule and some loyal subjects.

Red Roses
Roses are red, violets are blue, here's a strapon for you.

you must accept the thorns which it bears."

Homage to the Elven Queen
I came across this oil painting and it reminded me of when I dressed up as an Elven Princess one year for halloween and looked a bit similar to this. I'm posting it because of that and also because I just love the romantic nature and love seeing a male on his knees before his Queen.
"Homage to the Elven Queen" by LindsayArcher.com
Artist's description of oil painting:
"It is summer in the elven wood. Everything seems to grow taller and greener here. A human wanderer stumbles upon the elven queen singing in the wood, enjoying a moment of freedom from the affairs of court. The wanderer kneels in reverence to the station and the beauty of the elven queen. His eloquence though enamored with her, touches her heart. She welcomes this stranger to her beautiful kingdom by graciously extending her hand. He thanks her by kissing her ivory knuckles."

Captured kiss
A romantic looking photo I came across and liked. (yes I'm a romantic at heart). And I like the tone, the softness and romantic feel to it. Also I like the fact that she's holding his face in this particular kiss which to me shows some passion, tenderness, desire and control...drawing him to Her for however long she wants the kiss to continue. Exploring the softness of their lips touching and She's enjoying what's Hers.

Loving Female-led images
A submissive male lovingly brings food and drink to his Mistress while She bathes and relaxes.Someone wrote to me asking me why I don't post more photos of regular women naturally looking dominant and less of women as they put it "looking like domination machines". I do not feel the latter is the case. There's plenty of quality photos on here. And I enjoy all aspects of the bdsm lifestyle...the pure domination and submission dynamic and various kinks. It's My blog and I post the photos that I like and my thoughts as a lifestyle (non-pro) dominant Woman. Sure I'd love to post more photos that show the LOVING aspect of a Female-led relationship between a Woman and male. But in reality, alot of those types of images are hard to find. And usually I'm out living my life rather than searching for images online.
For years, I have always promoted the LOVING, Female-led lifestyle as opposed to the stereotypical roles of a whip cracking dominatrix out to only torture her slave. (fyi: I also ran a Femdomme/malesub munch for 8 years where I tried to promote the loving Female-led lifestyle, and I have a website for my idea of a loving, matriarchal residential community, and more. I do alot.) But yes I wish more people would realize, emphasize or photograph the more loving aspects of a good Female-led relationship. That the woman is there to guide the male and she is in charge of the household and he's her loving obedient servant glad to serve his Queen. But 1) that's harder to show in a photo and 2) most femdom images online are usually from males for the purpose of profit such as porn for mostly males. I do think that if more women saw more photos or people in person who expressed the benefits of the loving, Female-led lifestyle, that more women would be interested in it.

Need to be pampered
Current mood: I had a long day and need to be pampered. Some examples of that include: massaging my body from head to toe with some scented lotion and kneading any tension out of it...relaxing Me, bathing my feet and applying new nail polish, fanning Me like an adoring servant, feeding me grapes or strawberries, putting on soft music to relax me, adoringly kissing my feet while I enjoy a beverage you've brought to Me, etc. Hmmm...I wonder if you can think of any other ways to pamper Me?
