Basic terms to know

Some clarification on some terms because I noticed in some websites' online forums that some males do not understand what a submissive, slave, and service is. So I will explain for everyone's education:

Service = any act performed for a Dominant by a submissive that expresses respect, honor, gratitude, usefulness or submission.

Servitude = refers to performing personal tasks for their dominant partner, as part of their submissive role in a BDSM relationship. 


A submissive = someone who is or has a desire to be submissive to another person, or chooses a submissive role within a relationship. They relinquish control to the other person and want to please them, be useful, help make them smile, and they obey. But they may have some "hard limits" on a few things that they would not do and they have communicated them to their dominant before entering into the consensual relationship.

A slave = someone who has a submissive desire and has entered into a relationship with a dominant personality and has grown in the relationship to a degree of trust and communication, that they feel comfortable giving 100% of their trust to the dominant person. They trust that the dominant partner will not harm them so they offer up their limits, or safeword (if they had them), as no longer needed, they have complete and unwavering trust in their dominant partner so they offer up their bodies and soul as property to the dominant partner. NO limits.

Being a submissive or slave means submitting to another person's needs and desires.

 
A person who is listed as a "kinkster" or "fetishist" is not a submissive or slave because they are usually focused on just fulfilling their kinks or fetishes. They are not about the other person and about trusting and really surrendering control to the dominant. They are usually more focused on their own selfish pursuit of gratification.

Female dominance:
